SaunaSpa Luxury Cedar Oval Cold Plunge Tub

The SaunaSpa Luxury Cedar Oval is a cold plunge that looks like it belongs on a patio rather than in a locker room. Handcrafted cedar on the outside, stainless steel on the inside, held together with a galvanized steel hoop. The cedar handles moisture and weather. The stainless interior is the part that matters for upkeep: it resists corrosion and wipes clean.

The oval barrel is 62 inches long with a 24 inch soaking depth and holds up to 169 gallons, so you can sit fully submerged instead of folding yourself into a tub. A cedar step, a padded headrest and a foldable insulated cover are included, and a bottom drain plug makes emptying it simple.

Read this before you choose your option. The tub and the chiller are separate pieces of equipment. "Tub Only" is exactly that: a plunge you fill and ice yourself, or connect to a chiller you already own. Adding a Gale chiller turns it into a system you can use every day without hauling ice. It cools the water to 38°F, heats it to 104°F, and runs from the touchscreen or the WiFi app.

• Tub Only. The cedar tub, step, headrest and cover. Chiller compatible, with no chiller in the box. The honest option if you already own a chiller or want to test the habit first.
• With 0.8 HP Gale Chiller. The tub plus the 0.8 HP Gale chiller and heater, with built-in ozone and a removable filter.
• With 1 HP Gale Chiller. The same package with the larger 1 HP Gale unit, for hotter climates, heavier use or faster recovery between sessions.

Cooling speed depends on ambient temperature and water volume. Cedar is a natural material, so grain and color vary from tub to tub.

This product is covered by the SaunaSpa Cold Plunge Units & Chillers Limited Lifetime Warranty. The terms that matter most:

• Limited lifetime coverage on covered components against defects in materials or workmanship, for the original purchaser, under normal residential use.
• Register within 90 days of delivery to activate the warranty.
• Keep your receipt. Proof of purchase is required for every claim.
• Residential use only. Commercial and business use is not covered.
• What is excluded: normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation or operation, hard water or mineral deposits, corrosive chemicals, improper maintenance, and alterations to the product.
• Shipping, handling and labor are not covered under the warranty.

Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Because it ships by freight rather than parcel, SaunaSpa sets some terms that differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.

Delivery

• Shipping is free.
• Curbside delivery, signature required. The driver brings it to the curb and no further. Plan how it gets from the curb to where it will live, and have help on hand.
• Plan where it goes before it arrives. Filled, a plunge this size is extremely heavy. Site it on a surface rated to carry the load, such as a concrete pad, a reinforced deck or grade.

Inspection, and your right to refuse

• Inspect before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing it. Signing a clean receipt for a damaged shipment makes a claim hard to win.
• You are entitled to refuse damaged freight. If the tub or chiller is obviously damaged, refuse the shipment.
• Open the packaging and report hidden damage within 48 hours, with photographs, to support@motiontheorylabs.com. We handle the claim from there.

Cancellations and returns

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on items that are unused and in their original packaging. Opened or used items are reviewed before a return can be approved.
• A return authorization is required before anything ships back. Contact us first and we will arrange it.
• Return shipping is at your cost, and a 25% restocking fee applies. On a freight item this size that is a significant number, so please be confident before ordering.
• Refunds are issued after the item is received and inspected.
• Damaged or defective on arrival is not a return. It runs through the damage process above or the warranty process, depending on what happened.

All orders ship via the method best suited to the size and weight of the product. Smaller items ship via standard parcel carriers. Large items such as saunas and fitness equipment ship via LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment.

• Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition, less a 25% restocking fee
• Large freight items (saunas, fitness equipment) must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for return. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you pay return shipping, including freight. Once opened, they are not eligible for return or refund.
