Our Story
Motion Theory Labs is owned and operated by TG Stores LLC. Founded in May 2026 in Owatonna, Minnesota, the brand was built on a simple conviction: high-performance recovery and training tools should be accessible to anyone serious about how they move and feel.
We specialize in Pilates reformers, cold plunges, infrared saunas, and connected recovery devices. Every product is selected for build quality, thoughtful engineering, and real-world performance so you can train harder and recover smarter.
Our Philosophy
We believe your body is the most important technology you own. The right tools turn a spare room into a personal performance lab, a recovery sanctuary, and a place where consistency compounds into real change over time.
Why I Started This
There was a stretch where I stopped taking care of myself. I could not walk around my own house without being out of breath or dealing with back pain. When I moved out to California, every time I lifted something my lower back let me know about it.
Getting back in shape gave me my energy back and a lot more control over how I felt day to day. What stuck with me afterward was that the barrier for most people is not willpower. It is time. Nobody has three free weekends to research a cold plunge before they buy one.
That is what Motion Theory Labs is for. I do the research and the vetting so you do not have to, whether you are training for a marathon like I am or you just want something left in the tank at the end of an office day.
I am a Marine Corps veteran and I founded Motion Theory Labs here in Owatonna, Minnesota. I chose every product on this site and signed every dealer agreement behind it. If something goes wrong with your order, it comes back to me.

How We Vet What We Sell
A real track record
We look at how long the manufacturer has been building it, what owners say once they are a year in, and whether the model is still supported. Something brand new with nothing behind it does not get a page here.
Quality over name recognition
Some of what we carry comes from names you already know. Some does not. A smaller manufacturer making a genuinely better product gets in ahead of a household name making an average one, as long as it clears everything else on this list.
Benefits the maker can actually back
Parts of this industry sell hard on medical outcomes with nothing behind them. If a product’s main pitch is a health claim its own manufacturer cannot support, we do not carry it, however well it would sell.
Nothing entry-level
We do not stock the cheap end of a category. If the serious options start above a certain price, that is where we start too. The goal is that you buy this once.
What is left is a shorter catalog than most stores carry. Every product on this site cleared all four, and every brand behind it is one we hold a direct dealer agreement with.

Every order ships from strategically located warehouses across the US, bringing your equipment closer and reducing transit time. We offer free shipping on most orders within the Continental U.S. (excludes AK/HI) with no order minimum.
