Common Questions

Before You Choose

What Is the Difference Between Traditional and Infrared

Traditional runs hotter, allows steam, and usually needs a 240V circuit. Infrared runs cooler, with no steam, and many units run on 120V. Choose by the heat you want and the power you have, then compare builds.

What Power Does a Sauna Need

Most traditional saunas need a dedicated 240V circuit, and the models we carry range from 20 to 50 amps. Many infrared saunas want a dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit. Get an electrician's quote for your panel before you order.

Can It Go Outdoors

Only if it is rated for outdoor use. Most infrared cabins are indoor rooms, and on several we carry, placing one outdoors voids the warranty. An outdoor cabin needs a level, well-drained base, such as a concrete pad, pavers or a deck rated for the load.

How Is a Sauna Delivered

By freight, usually curbside with a lift gate. Getting the boxes from the curb to the site is your job, so plan the route and the help. Every freight order from us includes an inspection guide before the truck arrives and a call after it lands.
