The Golden Designs Osla Edition, 2025 model, is the all-cedar six-person traditional cabin. Canadian red cedar inside, Pacific premium clear cedar with a clear stain outside — cedar on both faces, which almost nothing else at this size does. An 8.0 kW stove with built-in controls takes it to 175°F to 190°F, with water on the rocks.
Cedar throughout is the reason to choose this over the Kuusamo, which is the same capacity, the same stove and the same price with a hemlock exterior. Same session, different cabinet. If the sauna is going somewhere you look at it as much as you sit in it, this is the one.
The ceiling is a galaxy star color therapy lighting system with a white reading lamp, rather than the chromotherapy wash used elsewhere in the line — a quieter room to sit in. An interior backrest with accent light, LED control panel with FM station and Bluetooth, built-in performance speakers, a clear tempered glass door, and the traditional accessory kit — sandglass, bucket, and scoop.

Warranty
This cabin is a traditional stove sauna rather than an infrared one, and Golden Designs splits its coverage differently as a result. The stove carries a shorter term than the rest of the sauna, which is the part worth knowing before you buy.
- Electronics: 5 years — the control panel, applicable harnesses, and lighting
- Stove: 1 year. This is the shortest term on the product and it covers the component that does the actual heating. Keep the stove documentation that ships with the cabin.
- Proof of purchase is required to make any claim. Keep your receipt showing the date of purchase.
- Residential and light commercial use are both covered on this model.
- Indoor, or an exterior location covered from direct weather. This is not a weatherproof outdoor cabin. Leaving it exposed to rain, snow, or direct sun is not covered.
- What is excluded: normal wear, alterations or modifications, misuse or abuse, and repairs performed by anyone other than Golden Designs authorized personnel. Surface cracks in the wood are normal behavior for timber and are not treated as defects.

Golden Designs Shipping, Delivery & Returns
Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Because it ships by freight rather than parcel, Golden Designs sets some terms that differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.
Delivery
- Curbside delivery only, with free lift gate service throughout the continental United States. The driver brings the pallet to the curb and no further. If you do not have a curb, live on a dirt road, or have a driveway an 18-wheeler cannot access, you may need to meet the driver at the nearest accessible point or pay additional delivery fees.
- Plan the route indoors before you order. Six boxes at 845 lbs have to get from the curb into the room. Measure your doorways, hallways and any stairs, confirm the assembled 79" × 72" footprint fits with clearance around it, and respect the stove clearances in the installation manual.
- Transit time: ships within 24 to 48 hours of order and payment authorization, then 7 to 14 days in transit. The carrier calls you to schedule an appointment, typically 8am to 12pm or 12pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
- You have 2 business days to accept delivery once the sauna reaches your local terminal. After that, storage runs $100 per day.
Inspection, and your right to refuse
- A signature is required. Inspect every carton and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it. Signing a clean receipt for a damaged pallet is the one thing that makes a claim hard to win.
- All sauna boxes are delivered standing up. If they arrive lying flat on the pallet, the sauna was dropped. Check for exposed or damaged wood.
- You are entitled to refuse damaged freight. If it is obvious the sauna inside has been damaged or crushed, refuse the shipment outright. If you see damage but choose to accept anyway, describe it on the delivery receipt in detail — holes, dropped, tilted, not upright, ripped boxes, pressure damage.
- Open the boxes and report hidden damage within 48 hours, with photographs, to support@motiontheorylabs.com. We handle the claim with Golden Designs from there. Same 48-hour window as our standard policy, but on a freight pallet it means opening cartons rather than just looking at the outside.
Cancellations and returns
- Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchase. Shorter than our general policy, because Golden Designs releases freight quickly. After 24 hours a cancellation is treated as a return.
- Return freight is charged both ways, and the inbound leg is billed at 120% of the outbound cost, on top of our standard restocking fee. On a 845 lb freight item that is a significant number, so please be confident before ordering.
- Damaged or defective on arrival is not a return. It runs through the freight damage process above, or the warranty process, depending on what happened. Both are faster and neither costs you anything.

All orders ship via the method best suited to the size and weight of the product. Smaller items ship via standard parcel carriers. Large items such as saunas and fitness equipment ship via LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment.

Our Return Policy

- Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition, less a 25% restocking fee
- Large freight items (saunas, fitness equipment) must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for return. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you pay return shipping, including freight. Once opened, they are not eligible for return or refund.

Freight is not parcel delivery. The window to report damage is short, often 24 to 48 hours from the moment you sign, and on some products transit damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty at all. The exact terms for this product are in the Shipping and Delivery section below.
That Window Is Why We Do Two Things Rather Than One
What We Send, and What the Call Covers
When your order ships, we send you a written inspection guide. How many boxes to expect, what it should look like coming off the truck, what to photograph, and what to note on the delivery receipt before you sign. A clean signature on a damaged shipment is what makes a claim hard to win, and you are entitled to refuse a damaged delivery, which is worth deciding before delivery day rather than with a driver waiting.
After it arrives, we call you. We schedule that call inside the reporting window rather than whenever is convenient, because once the window closes there is nothing left to do. It covers three things:
- That it arrived, and arrived intact. We go through what came off the truck and what you found when you checked it.
- Anything that did not. If there is damage, we take it from there. What to photograph, what to file, and we deal with the carrier.
- Who to contact for what. Warranty claims go directly to the manufacturer and we give you the name. Anything to do with delivery, freight, or damage in transit comes to us and we handle it.
Ten to fifteen minutes depending on what we find, included on every freight order. We schedule it, you do not have to chase us.
