Soaring Heart Buckwheat Hull Pillows

The support and stability of the Buckwheat Hull Pillow has been understood in Japan for centuries where it is a common complement to the shikibuton. The buckwheat hulls shift within the pillow, molding the surface to the shape of your neck and head and holding that shape until you move.

Our all-natural buckwheat hulls do not retain heat; their granular nature allows air to pass through and surround them, keeping your head cool during the night. Unlike many other pillow fills, Buckwheat Hull Pillows will not collapse or lose volume while you sleep, providing sustained support for the neck, head, and shoulders all night long. This also makes Buckwheat Hull Pillows a long-lasting investment.

Our buckwheat hulls are hand roasted to insure their quality and longevity. The small and mini sizes can be warmed in the microwave or chilled in the freezer.

Do not attempt to wash any pillows that are made with cotton batting or wool batting. They may be gently spot cleaned with water and mild detergent if necessary, but don't try to remove them or put them in the washing machine.

Delivery

• Handmade in Washington. Allow 1 to 2 weeks before it ships, then transit time.
• Ships within the continental United States.

Cancellations and returns

• Contact Motion Theory Labs before your order ships if you need to cancel.
• Returns must be requested within 30 days of the ship date. The pillow must be unused and in its original packaging, and a return authorization is required before anything is sent back.
• Approved returns are subject to our 25% restocking fee.
• If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us right away with photos.

All orders ship via the method best suited to the size and weight of the product. Smaller items ship via standard parcel carriers. Large items such as saunas and fitness equipment ship via LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment.

• Free shipping on every order in the Continental U.S. (excludes AK/HI), including freight delivery on large equipment. Nothing is added at checkout
• Freight deliveries are curbside unless otherwise noted
• You will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment for freight orders
• Inspect all items carefully upon delivery before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves — failure to note damage at delivery may affect your ability to file a claim

• Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition, less a 25% restocking fee
• Large freight items (saunas, fitness equipment) must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for return. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you pay return shipping, including freight. Once opened, they are not eligible for return or refund.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective
