The Perfect Sleep Pad Dual Zone System gives two people in the same bed two different temperatures. Each side has its own control unit, its own remote and its own set of microtubes running through the pad, so one sleeper can hold 58°F while the other holds 90°F on the same mattress, on the same night, without either of them compromising.

It works by circulating water, not blowing air. Chilled or warmed water moves through a network of soft microtubes sewn into a quilted pad that lies on top of the mattress you already own — nothing is replaced and nothing is installed. Water carries heat roughly 25 times better than air does, which is why the system holds a set temperature all night at 40 dBa and around 80 watts rather than fighting the room with a fan.

The system runs from 55°F to 118°F. That is a genuinely wide band, and it is the reason this reads as recovery equipment rather than bedding: the same pad that pulls heat out of a memory-foam mattress in July delivers sustained warmth to cold joints in January.

Why a temperature-controlled bed is a recovery decision

Core body temperature has to fall for deep sleep to happen, and it has to rise again for you to wake up cleanly. A mattress that traps heat — which is most of them, and nearly all memory foam — works directly against that drop. A bed that actively removes heat is not a comfort upgrade. It is the same category of intervention as a cold plunge or a sauna, applied across the eight hours where your body does its actual repair work.

Dual Zone, or Single Zone?

This listing is the two-sleeper configuration: two control units, two remotes, and a pad split down the middle into independently controlled halves. If you sleep alone, or you and your partner genuinely agree on temperature, the Single Zone System is one control unit over a single-temperature pad and is the right choice.

Sizing follows your mattress, not your body. Queen is 60" x 80". King is 76" x 80".

What's included

  • Two control units, each with its own reservoir, pump and display
  • Two wireless remotes
  • One dual-zone quilted mattress pad in your chosen size, with independent left and right microtube circuits
  • Two insulated connecting hoses
  • Power leads for standard 110V North American outlets

A mattress protector between the mattress and the pad is recommended by the manufacturer. It is not optional housekeeping — Perfect Sleep Pad ties it to warranty coverage, and it prevents the rare condensation that any active cooling surface can produce.

Specifications

  • Temperature range: 55°F to 118°F (12.8°C to 47.8°C)

  • Power draw: Up to 150 W at peak, approximately 80 W in normal operation, per control unit

  • EMF: No heating elements and no electrical current in the sleeping surface

  • Mattress compatibility: Fits over any existing mattress, including memory foam and Tempur-Pedic style beds. The cover is designed to stretch at the same rate as a common mattress.

  • Efficiency: Cools the bed rather than the room, at a fraction of the draw of air conditioning

Warranty

Perfect Sleep Pad warrants this system against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The control unit and the sewn pad carry different terms, and the difference matters — read both.

  • Control unit — two years. During year one, a covered defect is repaired or replaced with parts, labor and return delivery to you all covered by Perfect Sleep Pad. During year two, parts remain covered at their expense, but labor and return shipping to you are billed to you.
  • Sewn mattress pad and tubing — 90 days. Within the first 30 days of purchase, a covered defect in the pad or tubing is repaired or replaced with parts, labor and delivery back to you covered.

Not covered: commercial use, improper maintenance, misuse, vandalism, acts of nature, use outside the country of purchase, resale by the original owner, and units bought from unauthorized retailers. Warranty coverage ends if you sell or transfer the system.

Motion Theory Labs is an authorized Perfect Sleep Pad dealer, so your unit is covered. Keep your proof of purchase. To open a claim, contact support@motiontheorylabs.com with your order number and we will start the return authorization with Perfect Sleep Pad for you.

Perfect Sleep Pad Shipping, Delivery & Returns

Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Perfect Sleep Pad sets some terms that differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.

Delivery

  • Ships direct from the manufacturer by UPS, in manufacturer packaging.
  • Duties and customs are handled for you. Perfect Sleep Pad clears customs and pays any applicable duty on your behalf. You will not be presented with an import or duty bill on delivery.
  • No installation, no plumbing, no electrician. The pad lies on the mattress, the hoses connect, the units plug into a normal outlet. Setup is a ten-minute job.
  • Plan for a nightstand or floor position for each control unit within hose reach of its side of the bed.

30-night sleep trial, and returns

This is a product you have to sleep on to judge, so it comes with a trial rather than a standard return window.

  • 30-night sleep trial. The clock starts the day the system arrives, not the day you order.
  • Full refund of the purchase price if you are not satisfied within that window.
  • No restocking fee. None, at any point in the trial.
  • Return shipping is yours. The original outbound shipping cost is not refunded.
  • A return authorization number is required before you send anything back, and the system must come back in good condition. Contact us and we will obtain the authorization.

Give it more than a week. Perfect Sleep Pad's own guidance, and the pattern in their customer feedback, is that most people take two to three weeks to settle on their temperature. Starting somewhere between 60°F and 68°F is a reasonable place to begin.

Not sure whether you want two zones or one? Talk to us before you order — it is the only decision on this product that is genuinely hard to change later.
