Leisurecraft Starlight Wood Burning Hot Tub

The Starlight is a hot tub with no pump, no control panel, no wiring and no monthly running cost. It heats by wood fire, from an integrated stove that sits in the water and transfers heat directly. You light it, wait, and get in.

That is either exactly what you want or exactly what you don't, and it is worth being clear about which before you buy.

What wood-fired actually means day to day

No electrical work. No electrician, no dedicated circuit, no panel upgrade, no permit for wiring. It can go anywhere on the property that a truck can reach — the far end of a garden, a lakeside, a cabin with no service at all.

No running cost. A conventional hot tub holds 100°F water twenty-four hours a day, every day, and you pay for that whether you use it or not. This one costs firewood, and only on the days you use it.

It takes time. Expect a couple of hours from lighting to soaking, depending on your starting water temperature and the weather. This is a plan-ahead soak, not a step-outside-after-work soak. People who love these tubs tend to like that part — the fire is half the ritual.

You manage the temperature yourself, by how much wood you burn and when you stop feeding it. There is no thermostat. It is not difficult, but it is a skill you acquire over the first few uses.

Choosing your interior

The white plastic liner is an HDPE shell. Smooth, easy to clean, and the standard build. It is what most people order.

Aluminum inserts replace the plastic with metal. Aluminum sheds heat into the water faster and more evenly than plastic does, which shortens the heat-up, and it will not scratch, stain or hold biofilm over years of use. It is a meaningful upgrade on a tub whose main friction is waiting for it to warm, and it is priced accordingly.

Check your local rules before ordering. Some municipalities and most HOAs have something to say about open-flame appliances and chimneys, and a few restrict them outright. It is a five-minute phone call and much cheaper than finding out after delivery.

Leisurecraft Shipping & Return Policy

This is a made-to-order freight item, and the delivery works differently than a parcel shipment. The terms below are specific to Leisurecraft and replace our general shipping and returns policy. Please read this section before ordering.

• Delivered by dedicated freight to a residential address rather than by parcel carrier. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout. Alaska and Hawaii by quote.
• Curbside or end-of-driveway delivery. The trucking company will not back into a driveway and is not responsible for unloading.
• Crate size: 84" long × 45" wide × 44" high, shipped on a pallet. This is the manufacturer's figure for the Starlight specifically, not an estimate.
• Check your liftgate before you order. Crates over 84 inches ship without one, and the Starlight sits right at that limit — so a liftgate is usually possible but is not guaranteed. Confirm it with us at order. If one isn't available you will need a forklift, a collection from the freight terminal, or a rented tilt-tow.
• Inspect on arrival. Damage or missing-component claims must be filed within 30 days of receipt.
• Lead time: made to order. We will confirm the current build time when you order.

Leisurecraft products are built to order, so the cancellation and return terms are tighter than most of what we carry.

• 24-hour cancellation window. Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed. After that the build has entered production and cannot be cancelled.
• No returns on Leisurecraft products under normal circumstances.
• If a return is authorized, a 25% restocking fee applies, plus all freight costs back to the factory.
• Arrived damaged? That is a freight claim, not a return, and must be reported within 30 days of receipt. Contact us and we will handle it with the manufacturer.
