Golden Designs Dynamic Fluid S680 Water Rower

The Dynamic Fluid S680 is the wood-framed rower in the Dynamic Fluid line. The frame is American ash with a black finish that leaves the grain visible, which makes it a machine you can leave out in a living space rather than hide in a garage.

Underneath the finish it runs the same twin tank fluid system as the steel models. Water gives you an instant catch and continuous resistance through the whole stroke, and the updated impeller delivers 15% more resistance than earlier Dynamic models. Five resistance levels are set at the tank.

The Bluetooth auto-adjust monitor reads the tank setting on its own. It shows time, speed, distance, stroke rate, calories per hour and watts, has a heart rate receiver built in that works with the main chest straps, and pairs with your phone.

It sits at a traditional low rowing height. If you want an easier on and off, Golden Designs offers an optional Elevate kit, sold separately, or the steel S660 Forge has the raised seat built in. Transport wheels let it tip up and store upright.

Dynamic Fluid Fitness equipment is warranted through Golden Designs. The terms are split by component, and the frame carries the longest one.

• Rated for residential and light commercial use. This is the use class the manufacturer publishes the warranty against.

Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Because it ships directly from Golden Designs, some terms differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.

Delivery

• Free shipping, directly from the Golden Designs warehouse in Ontario, California. Ships within 24 to 48 hours of order and payment authorization.
• Transit time depends on where you are: roughly 2 to 7 days on the West Coast, 4 to 7 days in Mountain time, 7 to 10 days in Central time and 10 to 14 days on the East Coast.
• Curbside delivery. The machine arrives boxed at about 74 lbs. Plan how you will move it from the curb to the room it will live in.
• Check your address and phone number at checkout. We confirm both with you before the order is released.

Inspection, and your right to refuse

• Inspect the carton before you accept it. If it is obvious the machine inside has been damaged or crushed, you are entitled to refuse the shipment. If you accept a damaged carton, describe the damage in detail on the delivery receipt before you sign.
• Open the box and report hidden damage within 48 hours, with photographs, to support@motiontheorylabs.com. We handle the claim with Golden Designs from there.

Cancellations and returns

• Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchase. Shorter than our general policy, because Golden Designs ships quickly. After 24 hours a cancellation is treated as a return.
• Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery, and the machine must be new, unused and in its original packaging. A machine that has been assembled and used cannot be returned.
• A 25% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is charged both ways, with the inbound leg billed at 120% of the outbound cost. Please be confident in the model and the space before ordering.
• Damaged or defective on arrival is not a return. It runs through the damage process above, or the warranty process, depending on what happened. Neither costs you anything.

All orders ship via the method best suited to the size and weight of the product. Smaller items ship via standard parcel carriers. Large items such as saunas and fitness equipment ship via LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment.

• Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition, less a 25% restocking fee
• Large freight items (saunas, fitness equipment) must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for return. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you pay return shipping, including freight. Once opened, they are not eligible for return or refund.
