Warming
Alpaca fiber is hollow, which makes it one of the warmest natural fibers available. We blend this with sheep wool to create a gentle and airy filling that will keep you warm while it wicks away moisture. So the comforter stays warm without feeling heavy or clammy.
Environmentally Friendly
The animals whose fiber goes into this comforter are raised without pesticides, and their coats are a renewable resource. No chemicals, bleaches or dyes are used in processing the wool, and the encasement is 100% organic cotton, so the whole piece is biodegradable.

Care
With proper care your alpaca wool comforter will provide a lifetime of comfort. For daily use it is recommended that your comforter remains covered with a duvet in order to protect it from soil, perspiration, and wear. Occasionally leaving your comforter in the sun will help the wool to naturally re-loft and air out, keeping it fresh and clean.
We recommend washing your alpaca comforter as little as possible. Cleaning greatly increases the amount of wear and shortens the lifespan of your investment. If you chose to wash your alpaca wool comforter it is important that you do not allow the product to be agitated or heated, as it shrinks and felts the wool. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low or line dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Front-Load Washer (Recommended)
Choose the "ultra-hand wash" or "wool wash" cycle of your washer, then choose "light." Use cold water and a mild natural soap. When your machine stops you may run it again on a spin cycle to ensure most of the water is out. Dry Cleaning is not recommended.
Top-Load Washer
Fill your machine with cool water and cleaner. Add your comforter, let it soak for 5-10 minutes, and then plunge it up and down by hand to clean it. Turn the dial to "spin," and spin the water out. Allow the machine to fill up again for the rinse, but be sure to stop it before the machine begins to agitate. Plunge up and down again, then turn dial to "spin." Dry Cleaning is not recommended.

Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Because it is handmade to order, Crescent Moon sets some terms that differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.
Delivery
- Each comforter is made by hand after you order. Allow 1 to 2 weeks before it ships, then transit time.
- Ships from Washington within the continental United States.
- Inspect the packaging on arrival and report any shipping damage to us right away. Keep the packaging.
Cancellations and returns
- Contact Motion Theory Labs before your order ships if you need to cancel.
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of the ship date. The comforter must be unused and in its original packaging, and a return authorization is required before anything is sent back.
- Approved returns are subject to our 25% restocking fee.
Our Shipping Policy
All orders ship via the method best suited to the size and weight of the product. Smaller items ship via standard parcel carriers. Large items such as saunas and fitness equipment ship via LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment.
- Free shipping on every order in the Continental U.S. (excludes AK/HI), including freight delivery on large equipment. Nothing is added at checkout
- Freight deliveries are curbside unless otherwise noted
- You will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment for freight orders
- Inspect all items carefully upon delivery before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves — failure to note damage at delivery may affect your ability to file a claim

Our Return Policy
We stand behind the products we carry and want you to be confident in every purchase.
- Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition, less a 25% restocking fee
- Large freight items (saunas, fitness equipment) must be unopened and in original packaging to be eligible for return. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, and you pay return shipping, including freight. Once opened, they are not eligible for return or refund.

- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective
