The Dynamic Cold Therapy 304 Stainless Barrel is a cold plunge built to live somewhere you actually want to look at. Premium Pacific Cedar on the outside, 304 stainless steel on the inside. The cedar handles weather and looks like furniture rather than equipment. The stainless interior is the part that matters for maintenance — it does not stain, does not hold odor, and wipes clean in a way plastic liners never quite do.

42 inches wide and 39.5 inches tall with an ergonomic built-in seat, so you are sitting properly submerged rather than folded into a tub. A Pacific Cedar step is included for safe entry and exit, and the custom cover has child safety latches for when it is not in use.

Read this before you choose your option. The tub and the chiller are separate pieces of equipment. "Just the Tub" is exactly that — a plunge you fill and ice manually. Adding a Premier Edition chiller is what turns it into a system you can use every day without hauling bags of ice: it holds water down to 37°F, heats up to 85°F, and runs off a standard 120V outlet with GFCI built in.

Choosing your configuration

• Just the Tub — $3,299. The barrel, cedar step, and custom cover. You add ice. Honest option if you already own a chiller or you are testing whether the habit sticks.
• With 0.8 HP Premier Chiller — $6,798. Cools plunges up to 135 gallons, 1 to 3°F every 30 minutes. The right match for this barrel in most climates.
• With 1.0 HP Premier Chiller — $6,998. Cools plunges up to 150 gallons, 1 to 3°F every 20 minutes. Worth the $200 if you are in a hot climate, plunging more than once a day, or want the water back to temperature faster between users.

Cooling speed depends on ambient temperature and water volume. Color reproduction on screen may vary from the finished product due to lighting conditions during photography. Cedar wood may cause eye and skin irritation, respiratory and digestive tract irritation, and/or an allergic breathing or skin reaction. Discontinue use if symptoms occur.

Warranty

Dynamic Cold Therapy products carry a shorter warranty than the Golden Designs sauna line. Worth knowing before you buy.

• 1 year on the barrel from Golden Designs
• 1 year on the chiller, plus lifetime product support
• Proof of purchase is required to make any claim. Keep your receipt showing the date of purchase.
• Residential use. Commercial use is not covered.
• Maintenance is a condition of coverage. Run the filtration and ozone system as directed and replace the 20 micron filters on schedule. Damage from neglected water chemistry is not a warranty claim.
• What is excluded: normal wear and weathering, alterations or modifications, misuse or abuse, freeze damage from leaving water in the system in sub-freezing conditions, and repairs performed by anyone other than Golden Designs authorized personnel.

Warranty service is handled by Golden Designs directly. To open a claim, email info@goldendesignsinc.com or call (909) 212-5555, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Pacific, with your sales receipt as proof of purchase. Defective parts are returned to Golden Designs at their discretion, and the warranty covers parts rather than labor.

Golden Designs Shipping, Delivery & Returns

Our standard Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy cover this product. Because it ships by freight rather than parcel, Golden Designs sets some terms that differ from those, and where they differ, the terms below govern.

Delivery

• Curbside delivery, with free lift gate service throughout the continental United States. The driver brings it to the curb and no further. If you do not have a curb, live on a dirt road, or have a driveway an 18-wheeler cannot access, you may need to meet the driver at the nearest accessible point or pay additional delivery fees.
• Plan where it goes before it arrives. Filled, a plunge this size is extremely heavy. Site it on a surface rated to carry the load — a concrete pad, a reinforced deck, or grade. Moving it later is not practical.
• Transit time: ships within 24 to 48 hours of order and payment authorization, then 7 to 14 days in transit. The carrier calls you to schedule an appointment, typically 8am to 12pm or 12pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
• You have 2 business days to accept delivery once it reaches your local terminal. After that, storage runs $100 per day.

Inspection, and your right to refuse

• A signature is required. Inspect the cartons and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it. Signing a clean receipt for a damaged pallet is the one thing that makes a claim hard to win.
• You are entitled to refuse damaged freight. If it is obvious the tub or chiller has been damaged, refuse the shipment outright. If you see damage but choose to accept anyway, describe it on the delivery receipt in detail.
• Open the boxes and report hidden damage within 48 hours, with photographs, to support@motiontheorylabs.com. We handle the claim with Golden Designs from there. Same 48-hour window as our standard policy, but on a freight pallet it means opening cartons rather than just looking at the outside.

Cancellations and returns

• Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchase. Shorter than our general policy, because Golden Designs releases freight quickly. After 24 hours a cancellation is treated as a return.
• Return freight is charged both ways, and the inbound leg is billed at 120% of the outbound cost, on top of our standard restocking fee. On a freight item this size that is a significant number, so please be confident before ordering.
• Damaged or defective on arrival is not a return. It runs through the freight damage process above, or the warranty process, depending on what happened. Both are faster and neither costs you anything.
